Home Dog Boarding | Cardiff
Wagging Tails CF Branch offers home holidays for dogs throughout the Cardiff postcode area.
"Hello! My name is Rhian and I have been a dog owner nearly all my life. I currently have a gorgeous black labradoodle named Daisy, who has basically become a surrogate daughter alongside my other two children in the 6 years we’ve had her.
My time around dogs has taught me that a dog is so much more than a pet – it becomes part of the family, with its own specific personality and needs.Entrusting your dog to a stranger can seem a little daunting, but that’s where Wagging Tails steps in.
I decided to join Wagging Tails after leaving Daisy in a kennel left me worried, which in turn , meant that I didn’t enjoy my holiday as much as I should have. With Wagging Tails, you can be sure that your dog will receive some of the finest, one-to- one care, from people with a genuine love of dogs.We have wonderful carers who are all committed to ensuring your dog’s safety and comfort, which means that however long their stay, you can be sure your dog will enjoy a wonderful holiday whilst you do too!
Wagging Tails acts as a home away from home for your dog and you can rest easy in the knowledge that you have chosen the best option for your best friend."Rhian & Daisy

How it Works
Your dog will be matched with the most suitable carer and you will be invited to a 'sniffing out meeting' at the carer's home before your dog's holiday stay, giving you peace of mind and reassurance that your best friend will have a great dog holiday!
All Wagging Tails carers are home-based. As they never mix dogs from other families, you know that your beloved pooch will always receive plenty of attention and, most importantly, live as part of a loving family.
Rhian aims to place dogs back with the same carer for subsequent holidays as the dogs and carers build a strong bond. Many owners say that their dogs have dragged them to the carer's door knowing exactly where they are and that it's holiday time!
The Wagging Tails Reputation
The calibre of their carers and the dedication to giving your dogs a stress-free stay makes Wagging Tails the ideal holiday home for all dogs including rescue dogs, puppies, and elderly dogs.
This is why vets, trainers, and groomers not only use Wagging Tails for their own dogs but also recommend them to their clients.

We began to think we wouldn't be having any more holidays abroad as the thought of him having to go into a kennel was not an option for us. The we heard about Rhian and Wagging Tails. After speaking to Rhian and being completely reassured of the service we took Frank for his 'sniffing out meeting' and met Rhian's dog Daisy who is lovely and very sociable. She wasn't bothered by Frank bouncing around and they played really well together.
It's clear Rhian is crazy about dogs, she really made Frank welcome, asking lots of relevant questions, she even sent photos of him playing to reassure us. Frank has been again recently and was clearly happy. He settled, played and ate his food. He also had a sleep! He'll be going again next month and then for 6 days in April.
I have absolute faith in Rhian, we are happy to leave our special boy with her.
I can't recommend Wagging Tails enough, you can be sure your little boy or girl will receive warm, kind and excellent care.
Fran, Cardiff
I would definitely book Wagging Tails again as I know Gino was very well looked after.
