Walk those paws for a life-saving cause!

Heli Hounds Dog Walk Day

Sunday 5 March 2017

Marks Hall, Coggeshall, Essex, CO6 1TG

heli hounds

Get your four-legged friends ready as you join over 300 other dog walkers for a scenic stroll through the Marks Hall Estate in Essex.

After starting at the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust office in Earls Colne, you can make your way through the beautiful grounds of the Estate, making friends and feeling paw-some about it.

Stretch your legs for five miles, stop for a paw-stop in the Spring breeze, and make some new friends as you go.

We know that money doesn’t mean very much to dogs, but it means a lot to humans and even more to our life-saving helicopters. Even if you can get just £30 sponsorship to walk on the day, it could help to save a life.

Pre-register now for 2017 – just £5 per dog! Registration closes midday Friday 3rd March 2017

Could your dog be our first ever Heli Hounds Hero?

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Whether your dog is big, small or somewhere in-between – we want to hear about them!

You decide what qualities are important in a hero. It might be beauty, brains, bravery, or an uncontrollable appetite for dog treats. We won’t judge you.

Not all heroes wear capes - some wear collars! Sign up to our Heli Hounds Dog Walk on the 5th March 2017 and your pooch is in with a chance of being the poster dog for our 2018 walk!

How do I enter?

Simply send us an email with your details and a picture of your pup to The deadline for entries is the 22nd February 2017.

After this, the Final 8 will be chosen. These semi-finalists will lead the Heli Hounds event on the 5th March, before the winner is crowned (possibly literally) at the end of the walk!

Terms and Conditions

You may only enter the competition if you have signed up for our Heli Hounds Dog Walk on the 5th March 2017 and you must attend on the day for your pooch to be in with a chance of taking the crown.

Please see a full list of terms and conditions here.
