Specialised Dog Walking

We ONLY offer solo or duo dog walks, depending on your dog’s needs. This ensures that your waggy friend gets our full attention and gets supported socialisation. This make our walks perfect for nervous or anxious dogs or those who need a little extra attention in public spaces or around people and other animals.

We also offer a range of pet care services for small animals and reptiles, so that your pet gets the care and attention they need and you get peace of mind knowing that they are being cared for when you can’t be there.

Teignside Pets offers a daily dog walking service with our trained professional dog walkers, ranging from short or long solo walks for more nervous of older dogs, to our popular ‘duo walks’ which provide excellent opportunity for your dogs to socialise as well as get a full hours exercise.

At Teignside Pets, we provide a 30 or 60 minute drop in visit either once or twice a day depending on preference. We feed, clean up any mess and let the dog out/take them for a short leg stretch and provide company and fun during the day. These are ideal for elderly dogs and those who don’t need a full walk.

These walks are a one-on-one service where your pet has the exclusive attention of their carer. They are perfect for dogs who, for one reason or other, are not be suited to walking in a group situation. If your dog is reactive towards other dogs and needs walking on their own with a sympathetic handler, then I can help.

Or are they an older dog who now prefers to take things at a steady pace?

Perhaps you have a youngster needing appropriate individual attention?

There are many reasons why it’s sometimes best to walk a dog alone. Perhaps your pet is older and unable to keep up with the more energetic pups, or they may not feel comfortable around other dogs.

We can arrange our one-to-one walks on a regular daily basis or as a one-off event when you aren’t able to walk your pet. While walking your dog,  they will come across other dogs, humans, and perhaps even other animals, not to mention scents and noises they probably haven’t experienced before. Our walks aim not only to exercise your dog but also to encourage mental stimulation, sniff and decompress and help him to be more relaxed and balanced.

Are you looking for dedicated care for your best friend? We offer solo and dual dog walks and visits and pet sitting to meet the needs of your beloved pet.

We are fully insured, DBS checked and hold various certifications including Animal Behaviour and Canine First Aid. With many years of pet care experience, you can trust us with your furry friend!
