Putting The Food Back Into Dog Food

Taste-tested by humans, devoured by dogs

Butternut Box is fresh dog food - not canned, not dry, not raw. Their recipes are carefully crafted using freshly-prepared ingredients, then gently cooked low and slow at Rudie's Kitchen in Doncaster, before freezing to lock in the goodness.

They use vacuum-sealed packaging to keep our food fresh, without preservatives or chemicals, so you can serve them fresh from the fridge.

No added nasties - just ingredients you know and trust.

The Butternut Method

Human-quality meat and vegetables are gently cooked to create simple, tasty, and complete meals with the right balance of vitamins and minerals for dogs of every age. They treat the ingredients with respect (and some steam) by gently cooking them at 90℃. This means they remove any bad bacteria from the raw meat, while still keeping all the good stuff.

Freezing their meals is how they preserve their freshness without using any nasties - just like you would at home.  Each meal is perfectly portioned to suit their Butternutters’ dietary needs. No waste, no fuss. Perfection indeed.

If it’s good enough for dogs, it’s good enough for us. That’s why they always taste-test their meals to make sure they're just right.
