Dog Walking

My Best Friend provides a bespoke, safe, secure and fun dog walking service for those occasions when you are unable to look after your best friend.  Whether they're big or small, young or in their golden years, boisterous or reserved you can rest assured that they will receive the best care and attention.

They specialise in off-lead group walks so your pooch gets the most out of their time with 'My Best Friend'. They will be collected and taken to their walk in a caged doggy van with up to 5 friends and walked for a minimum of 50 minutes.

• Can provide references from many of their happy customers.

Home Boarding

My Best Friend provides a safe, secure and fun home-from-home stay within a family home selected through a network of their carefully selected carers. Unlike boarding kennels, your dog will live as one of the family when in the care of My Best Friend.

All carers will undergo an in-depth interview at their home to make sure they're suitable. Above all else, their carers are certified dog lovers!

Pet Sitting and Puppy Care

We all worry about leaving our best friends home alone but sometimes real life just makes it inevitable. If you have a dog that is unable to join MBF for longer walks then their pet sitting and puppy care service is perfect for you.

They come to your home and provide your pet with a 30-minute visit to check food, water and a short walk to stretch their legs.

This service is ideal for the older dog who is happy to snooze all day or even a puppy who is not yet ready for full walks.

They also cater to a wide range of small domestic animals

• Every council requires a home boarding licence. They help you manage this process and provide you with the necessary insurance.

• Once you join the team you give them your available dates and they find you a perfect doggy match.

• They deliver the dog and help you settle them in, then it's over to you but remember, they are always at the end of the phone.

• At the end of their stay, they pick up the pooch and take them home happy and relaxed.

❝ Hello, My name is Stephen Abson. and I own and operate the Chester Branch of My Best Friend.   My dog walking service is great for those of you who are out at work during the day and need someone to take your dog out for a fun walk. I have 3 time slots available for your convenience and an air-conditioned van with secure cages for his comfort and safety. 

Home boarding is so much nicer than traditional dog kennels and your dog becomes part of the family when he comes to stay. With a selection of dog carers I can cater or all shapes and sizes. If you would rather your dog stayed in his own home or you have a puppy that’s too young for full walks I also offer a pet sitting and puppy care service. Whatever your dog care needs I can help. All of our Carers are licenced and I hold clean DBS certificate so you can use my services with confidence.❞
