Dog Walking

My Best Friend provides a bespoke, safe, secure and fun dog walking service for those occasions when you are unable to look after your best friend.  Whether they're big or small, young or in their golden years, boisterous or reserved you can rest assured that they will receive the best care and attention.

They specialise in off-lead group walks so your pooch gets the most out of their time with 'My Best Friend'. They will be collected and taken to their walk in a caged doggy van with up to 5 friends and walked for a minimum of 45 minutes.

How It Works

• Initial consultation so that they can get to know you and your best friend.

• Provide a variety of off-lead county walks.

• DBS checked.

• Can provide references from many of their happy customers.

Home Boarding

My Best Friend provides a safe, secure and fun home-from-home stay within a family home selected through a network of their carefully selected carers. Unlike boarding kennels, your dog will live as one of the family when in the care of My Best Friend.

All carers will undergo an indepth interview at their home to make sure they're suitable. Above all else their carers are certified dog lovers!

How it works

• Initial consultation for us to get to know you and your best friend.

• Find a perfect match for your best friend from our network of carers.

• Send you regular "pup" dates during your best friend's stay.

Doggy Day Care

Your dog can be collected in the morning, entertained for the day and returned to you happy, relaxed and exercised ready for a quiet evening at home. If it's more convenient, then you can drop off between 8 am and 9 am and collect by 6 pm.

My Best Friend day care is a great way to ensure your dog remains happy and stress free in your absence.

During the initial consultation the team will take time to assess each dog, they have a limited number of spaces and take great care to ensure that they are sociable, relaxed and above all not show any signs of aggression.

• Provide a caring and safe environment.

• Take your best friend on 2 country walks with each full session.

Pet Sitting

When you want to take that well-deserved holiday, weekend away or spend some dogless time with family or friends,

My Best Friend will comfort your pet with a 30-minute visit to check food, water and their general well-being.

This service is ideal for the older dog who is happy to snooze all day or even a puppy who is not yet ready for full walks.

They cater for a wide range of small domestic animals.

• After an initial chat they come to your home to find out all about you. This helps them to find you a dog that matches your home and lifestyle.

• Every council requires a home boarding licence. They help you manage this process and provide you with the necessary insurance.

• Once you join the team you give them your available dates and they find you a perfect doggy match.

• They deliver the dog and help you settle them in, then it's over to you but remember, they are always at the end of the phone.

• At the end of their stay they pick up pooch and take them home happy and relaxed.
