Small Animal Veterinary Services in Co Durham

At Abbey Vets we try and make your visit to us as stress-free as possible. To help with this we have separate waiting areas for dogs, cats and smaller pets, birds or reptiles.

The dog waiting area is to the left of the main door near the retail area. As you enter you will be greeted by one of the reception or nursing staff. We request that you weigh your dog on arrival to enable our Vets to calculate the correct dosage for their medications if needed.

Cats and rabbits should wait to the right of the reception desk. Your pet will be weighed in the consulting room.
