There’s an elderly and poorly dog slowly suffering - no doubt dying - at the home of two OAP’s and they need your help to get the dog seen urgently. (Yet this Vet doesn’t seem to class this as an exceptional circumstance!?!) They - yet again - say they are too short staffed to help!! SERIOUSLY!!! Can’t help at all??? Caring for animals is your job, right?
Thank goodness for the powers of social media for getting this dog and family the urgent help required. And also for spreading the word about what vet not to contact in an emergency, or at all!
Ps Cash is accepted everywhere else! Kindly update your policy to suit your custom and not yourselves!!
PPS Disgusting and inhumane lack of service from this supposedly animal caring veterinary surgery.
Checked molly all over - it was an ear infection. After cleaning the ear & putting in the drops she started to pick up. Big thank you to to everybody at the practice x
The care given to Stella was beyond a doubt amazing. The whole process was dealt with in a calm and professional manner. Even though Stella had been in and out the vets and I had been on the phone throughout the whole of a Saturday into the night I was offered constant advice and reassurance.
A huge thank you to Jimmy and Lesley for delivering the puppies and working so hard to ensure Stella's safety and keep the pups alive, I dread to think what could have happened without them!
I am thankful to all the staff for their kindness and compassion and cannot recommend them enough, I am eternally grateful to everyone for Stella's and puppies care received before and after birth.
The level of care is second to none, the dedication to their patients is very humbling, even in the worst case scenario, the Team are calm, and reassuring.
My black Labrador Barney Boo, unfortunately took very ill one night in February 2011, and it was Catriona MacIntyre herself who attended to our home on an emergency call-out. I telephone at 22.12 hrs, and Catriona was at our home within 6 minutes!!!
Catriona took control of the situation, working very hard on Barney Boo, whilst at the same time, remaining calm, and patient with myself, even though I was in a terrible state, and probably far more of a nuisance, than a help.
Catriona stayed with Barney Boo until the very 'end' that night, and the love and tenderness which Catriona showed to Barney Boo in his final hours, was deeply humbling, and certainly her kindness is something which neither, myself nor my Parents will ever forget.
My current black Labrador Toby took very ill just a week ago, and I was seen at the Vet Surgery within 15 minutes of my frantic telephone call. The Vet on-call was Catherine, and again, not only was Toby treated very well, I also was treated with great dignity and respect. Catherine listened to me, and quickly went with treatment for Toby. Very happy to report that Toby is 100% back to his old self.
We are very Blessed within the Community, to have such a dedicated team, on call constantly.
