I tried to book my cat in for a spay as she has got out and been around male cats so I called for them only to tell me she would be added to the waiting list. When I explained the situation and they reluctantly booked me in. I asked about the price banding they have between £94 and £270 which is quiet a big difference . They lady said if she is in the later stages of pregnancy it would be the higher price as she would need to have big kittens removed and therefore be more complicated and they would need to be put to sleep . I ask specifically what Is the later stages of pregnancy were and she said between 6-8 weeks . Well I know she wasn’t that because she already had a kitten 9 weeks ago and never went out until 3 weeks ago. To which the lady said on the phone you will be ok then you will be charged the lower band.
My husband took her and signed to say that he understood there was a band on pricing . So when I went to pick her up they charged me the full amount. when questioned they just waved the paper he signed in my face, and said he signed knowing there was a band in price band!
. Staff were rude and not understanding at all that I had budgeted for the lower price. I was told that the member of staff should have told me that it would be the lower price and regardless of the stage of pregnancy it would be charged at the higher price. I complained which they don’t like either.
Totally unprofessional. Avoid .

When I got her, she was in just a tank with a water bowl. No hide house, no basking light, no branches to climb; nothing. She has all that now
