The PetStay service is ALL about your dog feeling happy in a safe and comfortable environment. Unlike kennels, your dog will live in their carer's home as one of the family so their normal everyday routines can be maintained.

Your dog will be matched with a carer best suited to their individual needs and requirements, for example, if your dog prefers their own company you can choose to board your dog alone or if your dog's a social butterfly they can stay with a carer who already has a family dog.

You will be invited to visit with a Petstay carer for a 'first date' before your booking is confirmed or payment made. PetStay will board more than one dog as long as they both live in the same household

Meet The Owner

Hello, my name is Sophia and I am very excited about welcoming you to PetStay Norfolk. We offer five-star pet sitting, giving your dog a home-from-home stay and providing you with peace of mind while you’re away.

Ever since watching James Herriot on the tv and reading all his books, I have wanted to be a vet. After graduating as a veterinary surgeon and working as a vet for a few years I started a family with my husband and found I couldn’t really combine being a vet with family life.

I started teaching Animal Management at the local college and achieved my teaching degree after 2 years. This was a great combination, I still had a job where I could take my dog to work (Seamus, in the picture, still loves coming to every lesson and the students love him) but when the children were off school, I was home as well. After teaching for about 7 years, it was time for a change. I was looking for a job where I could combine my love for dogs with my organisational skills and when I saw that PetStay Norfolk was available, I jumped at the chance to take it on and I haven’t looked back!
