Cathy Settle is a naturally gifted animal and pet portrait artist. She creates superbly detailed coloured pencil head and shoulder portraits from your photos.

 Cathy is inspired by the beauty of creation and likes to capture the array of colours and details in her drawings by using high-quality artist-coloured pencils and her technique of building up layers enables her to capture the glint in an animal's eye.

Cathy uses 10"x 8" suede mat board or papers in various sizes and colours.

The first step in the process of creating a coloured pencil drawing of your pet is to choose your photo.  This is the most important part, as the better the photo, the better the finished portrait will be.
