Crown Country Inn near Ludlow and Craven Arms in Shropshire.

A Grade II listed building transformed into a comfortable 4 star AA Inn for B & B with 2 AA Rosettes for food.

Original features still in place,inglenook fire places, flagstone floors,carvings in wooden beams set in an historic atmosphere..

Situated between Wenlock Edge and the Clee Hills, in the Vale of the River Corve, the Crown's history dates back into Tudor times when it was formed into one of the Shropshire Hundred Houses.

Set in an "area of outstanding natural beauty", located within easy travelling distance of many interesting towns including the small historic town of Much Wenlock (the birthplace of the modern Olympic Games), Craven Arms (ideally positioned for walking and cycling) and the bustling market towns of Ludlow, Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury.

The Crown makes a perfect base to stop whilst enjoying sights such as the Ironbridge Gorge, Stokesay Castle, Ludlow Castle or the Severn Valley Railway. If you really want to see the beauty of one of England's undiscovered counties, a walk upon the Wenlock Edge or Long Mynd will astound!
