Ellie had a major leg op a few years ago which enabled her to keep mobile. As a springer, this was obviously critical for her. The treatment, care and aftercare was second to none. More recently, poor Ellie had to have growths removed from both eyes and a lump removed from her leg. As she is now getting on in age, we were anxious about how she would be post op. It was so reassuring that Brian talked us through her after care and insisted that he wanted to review Ellie in a couple of days personally (despite being booked up). Again, this showed true care and commitment to Ellie’s recovery. I would highly recommend this practice! Thanks to all the team! The ‘Bravery’ certificate for Ellie was a lovely touch!

What a superb practice. From the moment you walk through the door you feel at home. Care is taken to check details, routine weighing of pets and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable and make sure that you receive individual attention. We have been using this vet for 19 years - that alone is testament to their excellence.

Took my dog here with a limp They said he needed an operation, and X-ray But needed to loose weight first. Then they booked him in 3 days later. Told me his bloods Came back okay, but he hadn't had any.
I took him to vet in Chesterfield. Who said no X-ray needed, advised to wait, as op was 3 months recovery, short walks and anti-inflammatory He was fine in 3 weeks - no thousands on bills, no recovery from op, no trauma, no ongoing problems!

The said my dog needed a knee op , and x Ray
Said he was overweigh for an operation
Then booked him in days later
I paid a fortune for pain relief !
Went companion Care in chesterfield
They provided anti inflammatories, not pain relief !
Didn't recommend an operation , as his knee was was slightly torn , not fully ripped
Which they knew without a £300 x Ray
My dog was walking fine in a matter of days , is running around fully recovered!
Carrick wanted to cut him open , perform a major operation
From which he would take months to recover
And probably lead to other problems due to recovery time !!
Often the other knee goes due to the extra pressure on the knee
Plus the cost off £1,300 To have my dog go through a terrible UN necessary operation !
