Clicked on one star because there was no option for none. Took my rescue dog here who I had from 2 years of age, he was then 12. He had never been sick but I saw that he was unwell. Treated him for worms, overweight, more exercise, fleas, you name it. I told them he was dying and asked why was his stomach so big. They said overfeeding, even though he was not overfed. Walk him for 2 hours a day they said. I knew he could not do that, and repeated that he was dying, although I did not know why. Bring him back in in a weeks time they said to test for Cushings disease. One day later I could see he was really unwell and booked an appointment with another vet. They immediately ultra scanned his stomach (which they picked up on straight away) and wanted to put him down straight away. I asked if we could bring him back the next morning if they thought he would not suffer as my daughter had not said goodbye and I wanted to treat him before this happened. They gave me drugs to make him more comfortable, but I nearly lost him that night. He was put down the next day, and he struggled terribly to make it the vets. He had advanced spleen cancer which had spread to his liver, his blood sugar was off the charts. Yet this vet said his bloods were ok just days before. I will never forgive them for what they have done to Mitch and to us. If even a couple of days before, he would have eaten his food and died in relative comfort. They denied us this due to their ignorance and lack of willingness to examine his stomach.. If you're concerned about your animal give this practice a miss! They treated him for everything run of the mill, except what was really wrong with him.
