Taverham Vets - Fir Covert Road, Norfolk

My labradoodle Tilly recently ruptured her cruciate ligament and tore the corresponding cartilage. The operation to repair the damage was performed by Mr Guy Pitcher. I cannot praise the standard of care that Tilly received high enough. In every aspect of the procedure I was informed in detail. In writing this review I wish to thank ALL the stuff at Taverham Vets who have contributed in helping my dog. In particular I should like to thank Mr Pitcher for his wonderful skill and his abundant humanity.

At the last minute we heard that Taverham vets could do keyhole surgery speying
We quickly changed our appointment to them as we had heard that the surgery is less invasive and the recovery time usually significantly quicker
We received first class service all round when we went there and cannot recommend them more highly to you

We have 3 dogs registered with taverham vets . Honey , roxy an tiaa. Roxy has very sensitive bellie and when we have taken her to taverham the staff have ways been very polite and have been very loving towards roxy. They always give us the best advice on what ever the situation may be. My dogs are always happy to go taverham which says somthing!

I have got two very cheeky and loud Labradors, the staff are very friendly and helpful when I need to bring them in, also I can get an app very quickly.5 star vets

Since the Practice first opened some 21 + years ago, I have brought both cats and dogs to Taverham for a variety of treatments and have always received nothing less than 1st class care and attention. With such a wide range of clinical specialists within the team, there is nothing this Practice cannot do for your pet, from puppy's first vaccinations, throughout life and also in providing the most compassionate end of life care I have experienced. Praise also goes not only for the Vets themselves, but the fantastic Nursing team and efficient Receptionists, and last but by no means least, the Practice Manager who keeps a very tightly run ship and is always available to help and advise. I would highly recommend this Practice to anybody who cares for their pets.

I have used this practice for almost 15 years now with various pet dogs and I've always been very impressed with the efficiency of the treatment and advice I've been given,I've recommended them to several people over the years who have also been very pleased with the service that they offer.

I have been using Taverham Vets since I got my dog as a 6 week old puppy. They are always on hand to give advice and don't sell you something you don't need. My dog has arthritis and pollen allergies and they are so helpful and very friendly. Toby recently had an operation on his back leg and had a metal plate and pins inserted. I really couldn't have asked for better care and certainly aftercare. I will always use this practice for my pets.

We have been with Taverham vets since it opened and we cannot praise the staff enough. They all share a passion for human and animal health and welfare.
They have been very approachable, knowledgable and professional for all our animals including all my foster dogs which come in and go to new homes. The staff are always helpful and dedicated and will always arrange for the animal to be examined at the surgery or will make you a home visit appointment they also provide 24hour emergency care, We have always been seen in a timely fashion and nothing is too much trouble for them. The Veterinary nurses also keep us updated on our dogs condition throughout when they are staying at the surgery.
The care given after losing our best friend (my little dog) was second to none; they are supportive and considerate with plenty of compassion.
The surgery has well equipped facilities and very nice surroundings and a good size car park.
I wouldn't hesitate to fully recommend all the services they provide to any animal lovers

Our family has been using Taverham Vet for about 20 years with a variety of pets from dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, gerbils and hamsters and we have always had top quality service. From making an appt to consultation and treatment, it has always been an excellent experience, Surgical intervention is top notch and in the event that you have to say goodbye to your beloved pet, the procedure is taken care of with the greatest dignity and genuine empathy.
We have moved away from Taverham over the years but still drive the 25+ miles to this vets practice, which must speak volumes about the care provided by Roger, Guy and all their team.

We use taverham vets Costessy branch and can't praise them enough. We have a dog 2 cats and 2 rabbits who all go there as I know They always get the best care possible. The vets always have time to talk about concerns and are always willing to go above the call of duty.costessy also have a special cat clinic which has been so good for both our cat and kitten. I would never go anywhere else. Would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a professional caring friendly vets for their much loved pet. We got our very first family puppy last year. Taverham vets have supported us all with their great value for money "puppy plan" resulting in a very happy pup and an ecstatic family who adore their fabulous dog! The staff are so friendly, informative and genuinely interested in the dogs progress and well being! Highly recommended!

With a menagerie of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and ferrets I tend to visit the vets quite often! The staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. They listen to your concerns and never talk down to you. If they're unsure of exactly what is wrong with your animal they'll always admit to that, and then tell you how they're going to go about finding a solution. When I've had pets there as in patients the level of communication has been fantastic. The fact that the Night Vets is now located in the same building is an added bonus.

Have been taking my 11yr old lab, Chips, there for checkups since he was 81/2wks old and I can't fault their quality of care. Last summer Roger removed 3 v large lipomas. The aftercare was excellent and Chips was given a new lease of life. I'll happily continue to use and recommend the practice.

We have always used Taverham Vets and wouldn't ever consider anywhere else. They have always treated our pets with care and compassion. When we lost our spaniel the vet was so kind and even sent a condolence card- which was really appreciated.
They have all the very best technology and specialists so we feel confident they can help with whatever problems our pets develop. We have also never had a problem getting an appointment which is always a bonus when you are worried. Fantastic place.

My Family have been taking our pets to Taverham for over the last 15 years we have always found them very caring kind and helpful and welcoming and very Professional nice modern and clean surgery and waiting area they have the latest equipment one of the only vets to offer key hole surgery .The Reception staff and Vets are always welcoming and willing to talk and explain any questions would recommend them to everyone would not go anywhere else.

I have been taking my dog to taverham for the last two years since he was a pup. When he started vomiting out of the blue I took him in. he had to be taken in and they found a sock in his intestines on an x-ray. The poor boy had to have a operation to remove it but the next day he was back home like there had been nothing wrong. The vet there was great at talking to me and they really know what they are doing. I still don't know where the sock came from!! Lovely practice - i'd really recommend it
